この講座では、1550年頃にスペインで制作された大型聖歌集の飾り文字を体験します。カデル文字の内側には、フィリグリー装飾と淡い色彩が、黒いストロークの間に美しく流れています。
ロトゥンダ体のみならず、すべてのゴシック系の書体と合わせて使いやすい文字です。各コースのお手本では、「MG scripsit」のロゴを見て、ご自分のお名前のエレガントな書き方を5種類学びます。

飾り文字の種類が多いので二つのコースに分けました。学ぶ順番はありません。

This course focuses on the lively and cheerful cadels used in a large Spanish antiphonal executed in 1550.
The space within and around the cadel letters has been filled with fine filigrees and light pastel colors which impart a beautiful contrast to the heavy black strokes of theses letters. This style of cadels can be used not only with the rotunda script but also with all other styles of gothic hands. These elegant and majestic letters will add an impressive touch to any artwork. In each course the students will learn how to draft their name in an elegant manner, taking as examples the different logos "MG scripsit" designed on class models. Due to the great number and variety of these decorative initials, two courses are offered: A course and B course.

Applications: these letters can be combined with all styles of gothic hands,
greeting cards etc.
